A Double for Glanrafon at the Royal Welsh!
Another show another double this time for breeders Jennifer Borsey & Martin Sivill & Sons, Glanrafon Flock. Taking the Championship under judge Harry Middleditch of the St Pauls Flock in Suffolk, was the shearling ewe.
The Judge said ‘The Champion was an easy winner, she’s very correct, great colour, deep gigots and has that X factor I was looking for. My reserve was the Glanrafon ram lamb, not the biggest lamb but was again very correct, had a good body and hard muscle throughout’
Both are sired by the Glanrafon stock ram Eppleby Lucky Dip (Chaddlehanger King Eric x Stourfield dam) and out of Ballycreelly Shamrock sired home bred ewes!
