Great Yorkshire Show results 2025

It looks like it’s been sunshine for the Great Yorkshire Show and a great entry of quality sheep for judge Roy McFarlane of the Lecropt flock, Stirling to look through.

Roy selected as his Champion the shearling ram from Louis & Becky Stainthorpes Whitby Flock. The ram Whitby Bram Stoker A072400276 is taking after his sire, Whitby Dracula who was Champion at the Carlisle Sale in 2023 and out of a Moybrick Xtrail sired ewe. Bram Stoker has already been used in the Whitby Flock

Reserve went to a shearling ewe from Austyn Chapman and Nikki Wadkins Eppley flock. This ewe was also reserve last year as a ewe lamb and as Austyn said she is consistent! Sired by Chaddlehanger King Eric and out of a Loughbrae bred ewe.
