The following transactions should be done online using the pedeWeb link: Birth Notifications, Ewe Lamb Registrations, Deaths and Animals Sold.
Ewe lambs chosen to retain for breeding should be registered online using PedeWeb. Registration can be made at time of Birth Notification, or any time up to 30th November each season (a higher rate of registration fee applies from 1st October to 30th November).
Stock Rams previously birth notified ram lambs may be registered as stock rams by breeder using ram for service for the first time. Application for Stock Ram Registration to be made to HDSBA Secretary giving Flock Number and a Chosen Name, together with the appropriate fee for registration (and transfer where applicable).
All live lambs born, male and female are required to be birth notified.
Ideally done online using PedeWeb. Birth Notifications done on paper will incur an additional administration fee. Signet Performance Recording flocks must birth notify all lambs on the signetdata website. www.signetdata.com
Dates for Birth Notification are by end of third month following birth.
Birth Notification Fees
Online submission £1.50 inc. VAT or if done on paper £2.00 inc. VAT.
Late Birth Notifications received after 30th September £4.00 inc. VAT
Stock Registration Fees
Ewe Lamb Registrations £9 inc. VAT for lambs registered by 30th September
Ewe lambs registered 1st Oct to 30th November £13 inc. VAT
Additional female after 30th November £25 inc. VAT
Stock Ram Registrations £30 incl VAT for previously birth notified ram lambs and now used for pedigree breeding.
Stock Ram fee payable by breeder first using ram. Application for Stock Ram Registration to be made to the Membership & Registration Secretary.
All Stock transfers are £8 inc. VAT paid for by the new owner. There is no charge for sheep bought at HDSBA sales or for Junior Members. Also no charge for transfers made at time of new member joining for the first time.
