National Show Win a dream come true for Treworthal
Winning the National Show was a dream come true for Adrian Rundle from Treworthal Flock in Cornwall. The flock has won many accolades including many of the top shows and set record prices at sales but the National had eluded him until now! Taking the top spot under judge Roy McFarlane, Lecropt Flock in Stirling, was B832500174 coming from ‘the best class of shearling tups the judge had seen in a while’ This ram is sired by Treworthal Firestorm and out of a Graylen Laird sired ewe with Yarcombe in the back breeding too.
Reserve Breed Champion and Female Champion came from the large trimmed Ewe Lamb class and beating off strong competition was 24Y2606945 from the Graylen Flock of Graham & Judith Galbraith from Cumbria. This ewe lamb is sired by Graylen Renegade who won the National Show in 2024 and out of a Wilstrop Legend sired ewe.
Given the judges thoughts on the shearling ram class it was no surprising that the Reserve Male Champion came from that class too with the second prize ram from David, Denise and Harry Middleditch from the St-Paul flock in Suffolk following on. 15X2500409 is sired by Treworthal Proper Job and out of a Birchfield Talisman sired ewe.
Reserve Female Champion went to the Seawell shearling ewe of Joe & Sophie Dilibero from Northants. F132500151 is sired by Seawell Explosive and out of a Treworthal bred ewe sired by Graylen Churchill.
