Royal Highland Show Results
The long journey from Cornwall to the Highland Show was well worth it for Adrian Rundle Treworthal Flock when he came away with both Male & Female Champion and Overall Breed Champion.
Judge Alison Halcrow picked her Breed Champion & Reserve from a very strong ram lamb class. The Breed Champion was Treworthal B832400091, who Alison described as ‘a correct ram lamb that I felt had strength from front to back and had all the breed characteristics I was looking for’ The lamb is sired by Treworthal Maximus.
Reserve went to Roy & Jane McFarlane & Lorna Rennie Lecropt Ram Lamb 53Y2400672. This lamb is sired by Lecropt Invincible and is out of a Graylen ewe.
Female Champion went to a ewe lamb from the Treworthal Flock again, B832400060 has already had success with winning reserve Female Champion and the Ewe lamb class at the National Show last week.
Reserve Female was awarded to E, B & S Jones Maes-Glas with the second prize ewe lamb from the same class.
