Judge Harry Middleditch ST PAUL Flock, Suffolk, picked as his Champion a Shearling Ewe from LOUGHBRAE Flock which had ‘size, power and presence’ according to the judge. The Reserve went to a Aged Ram from Adam Gregg KILDOWNEY Flock.
Mr Middleditch commented ‘It’s been an honour to have judged the Hampshire down section at the Balmoral show. The consistency of quality throughout is a credit to all the exhibitors and the amount of interest from around the ring was incredible. It was a real spectacle the size of entries in all the classes. I just want to thank the northern Irish club for your hospitality and making the whole experience memorable’
